“City People write, city people read” is one of those lines in a work of art that make you think twice. It is the truth. City People Magazine is written for city people.

But the message isn’t really about the magazine. It’s about the people they write for: city people. You may wonder how this really bothers you. Let us put it this way “politicians write, politicians read.” There has been a lot of stories from the political arena. One moment you hear one aspirant has stepped down, the next you hear he/she hasn’t stepped down.

City people write, city people read.

During the public declaration of one of the political aspirants, there was a flag of the opposition party endorsing his candidacy. The opposition party later, in a statement, denied being responsible for the flag. They opined that the aspirant’s heart is still with the party, that is the reason he hung their flag.

We have heard about who the president has endorsed, calling him his “successor”. We have heard the president hasn’t endorsed anyone. We have heard that some governors from a part of the country have endorsed another part of the country for presidency.

We have heard about people who were disqualified, and later we heard they weren’t disqualified. We’ve heard it’s only one person that has a say in the primaries. We’ve heard delegates are now the new big boys in town.
